What does BUDDEE say about their products-

Buddee is a range of school-safe, nut free spreads that are free from the top 10 most common allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, milk/dairy, wheat gluten, sesame and soy. These delicious spreads are manufactured in Buddee’s own purpose-built, allergen friendly facility in Melbourne, which is also free from the top 10 allergens.

With chickpea as its main ingredients, it comes in 3 varieties: Chocolate, Smooth and Crunchy and is the perfect nut-free, safe lunchbox alternative to common nut butters and choc-hazelnut spreads.

Buddee was inspired by one of its co-founder’s two young children, who both suffer from multiple anaphylactic food allergies. With most schools around the country having no-nut policies, and after discovering the very limited safe options for the school lunchbox, it became Buddee’s mission to fill the gap and provide families (both those with allergies and without) with a nut free, allergen friendly option to help keep schools safer.

Buddee is not only Australian made, but uses at least 95% Australian ingredients to support local businesses. Buddee is available in the spreads aisle of Coles and Woolworths stores Australia-wide, as well as in numerous independent supermarkets around the country.
