Allergy Life Aid is a practical support initiative by Allergy Life Australia, created to help people living with allergies cover some of the costs of everyday essentials, so they can access the support they need.
Allergy Life Aid may assist with the costs of allergy medications, food and meals, medical appointments, transportation, and home or environment needs required to live safer and happier lives.
The Allergy Life Aid initiative is delivered based on available resources, and operates through a simple queue system to ensure support is provided fairly and as quickly as possible.
Support may cover some or all of the requested costs. If your application is selected, we will let you know what assistance we are able to provide. All support is provided on a request basis, and any additional help depends on available resources. We’ll always do our best to assist where we can.

What can Allergy Life Aid provide support for?
Allergy Life Aid provides support towards:
- Allergy medication costs
- Food and meal costs
- Medical appointment costs, including transportation
- Home or environment needs (such as helpful devices, bedding, clothing
and similar essentials)
Support is provided in the form of vouchers, in-kind items, discounts, or arranged payments issued directly to suppliers or service providers.
What does Allergy Life Aid not provide support for?
Allergy Life Aid cannot provide support in the form of cash assistance, including direct payments to individuals.
Who can apply?
We take applications for support from:
- Adults applying for support for their own allergies.
- A parent, guardian, or carer applying on behalf of a child with allergies.
- An adult applying on behalf of their partner with allergies.
- Schools, Child Care Centres, and Early Learning Centres (ELCs) applying for allergy-related resources to support children in their care (Parent or guardian consent is required for requests involving an individual child.)
How does it work
- Complete the registration form and apply for your main aid need. You can also tell us about any additional needs in the same form.
- Applications are placed in a queue in the order they are received.
- A community panel from Allergy Life Australia reviews applications each month.
- Depending on your application, we may contact you to request additional information to better understand your needs.
- Aid is provided one request at a time, based on available resources. If additional resources become available later, we may be able to assist with further needs.
- If approved, our team will organise support in the most suitable way.

Allergy Life Aid may be able to cover some or all of the requested costs. If your application is approved, we will advise you during the process what support we are able to provide.
While we do our best to assist, we are not able to approve every request due to eligibility requirements, limited funding, and available resources.
Privacy and discretion
All applications are handled with care and discretion. Your information is kept confidential and reviewed only by the Allergy Life Australia team.
If we need to share your details with a third party in order to arrange support, we will only do so with your consent and permission.
Parent or guardian consent is required for requests involving an individual child.

Allergy Life Aid is an initiative of Allergy Life Australia, a national charity created to provide needs-based support for Australians living with all types of allergies. If you’d like to contribute financially, please click the Donate button. Financial donations enable us to respond promptly to both urgent and everyday allergy-related support needs.
Allergy Life Australia is registered as a charity with the ACNC and holds Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. Donations of $2 and over are tax-deductible, and a donation receipt will be issued for all donations.
Businesses and organisations
Businesses and organisations can support Allergy Life Aid by making a donation or donating allergy-related products or services.
