Join Thai on his adventures, the first children’s book in the Dealing with Food Allergies book series by Jackie Navard is a fun story, showing how to handle food allergies at birthday parties.
With the help of his Mum, Thai makes safe food choices by bringing his ‘safe cake’ and a ‘safe party lunch box’ so that he can participate without feeling left out. The story normalises food allergies by showing that other children bring ‘safe cake’ to parties too.
This was written by Jackie Navard as part of a Dealing with Food Allergies book series created for children and parents. Jackie is the founder of My Food Allergy Friends (external link) and has a son named Thai, who has allergies. She hopes the books she has created can be enjoyed and help raise awareness in the community around you.
