Ivy’s Allergies: A Story of Courage in the Classroom follows the journey of a young girl navigating the challenges of severe food allergies.

Whilst at school, she overcomes challenges and anxiety about being different, due to her allergies. Despite her fears, Ivy bravely speaks up about her anaphylaxis, educating her classmates about how they can help keep her safe. Along the way, she gains confidence and shows that courage comes in many forms, including sharing your truth and standing up for your needs.

Written with warmth and sensitivity, the story highlights the importance of inclusion, mindfulness, empathy and communication. Ivy’s journey encourages children with allergies to feel empowered and teaches others how to be supportive and understanding friends. Complete with helpful tips and a note to parents and educators, this heartwarming book is both a story and a tool for building safer, more compassionate classrooms.
