It's with great pride that Allergy Life Australia announces the launch of the My Allergy Card app, a Visual Allergy Alert to reduce allergic risk situations (ARS) and alleviate allergy anxiety by making others allergy aware through an easy, everyday digital means.
Building on the success of our original digital wallet My Allergy Card which was launched in 2021, the My Allergy Card App has just been launched for free download on the Apple Store and on Google Play after receiving a lot of amazing user feedback.
"As someone who uses the My Allergy Card to communicate in everyday situations, it has helped reduce my risks, and hearing feedback from the community over the years that it has helped them too has been really heartwarming," said Grace Canning, Director of Allergy Life Australia. "This is why we transformed our My Allergy Card into a mobile application as we wanted to provide the allergy community with more freedom to add and share their allergies and to ensure they have an improved, easy and effective way to advocate for themselves."
The My Allergy Card app has the same purpose, impact and a similar design as the original wallet card but with more features and capabilities.
The My Allergy Card app allows users to:
- Add all their Allergies (and update the details as they need to)
- Customise the information in the app for them or their loved ones
- Easily Share through the in-app share button via SMS, Email and more
- Plus More
And with community support and feedback, we will work on bringing more features to help people navigate living with allergies.
