HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WITH ALLERGIES

-Online Peer Allergy Support-

Are you in high school and have allergies?

Meet other high school students with allergies (food allergies, environmental allergies, skin allergies, pet allergies, etc) learn new ways to manage your allergies and feel more confident navigating allergic risk situations.

These sessions are led by older peer facilitators with allergies who are trained in facilitating conversations.

Register to the below sessions, if you cannot make the below sessions, please email contact@allergylife.com.au

What should I expect?

The sessions are run for 45 minutes and cover a different theme each month.

The group size is limited to a small group (max 8) to allow for ease of conversation and for everyone to be heard.

At the end of the support group, you can vote on the topics to discuss at the next session, including adding any questions you would like to bring to the group.

Do I have to show my face?

You can choose to show your face and what name you are referred to as. The only participants that will be publicly identifiable by default are the hosts and guest speakers.

Your registration information (name and contact information) is private and not shared. They are only for internal purposes and to communicate with you.

Is this a therapy, counselling or medical support group?

No, the sessions are for peer support from others who have been in similar situations. Focusing on positivity and helping one another manage and overcome these problems.

If assistance is needed we provide follow up information and assistance after the session.
